Yoga Hike With Body In Balance

Yoga Hike With Body In Balance

What is a Yoga Hike? .....No Mat required ;-)

It's natural to meditate in Nature...We raise our vibration by opening to receive light energy, sound vibration and the gentle caress of the breezes.....Breath and mindful movement is where we begin....

Increase your balance and stamina as we mindfully practice yoga embracing contours in nature such as trees, rocks, creeks and rivers. Every time I practice outdoors, I am grateful that my studio has no walls! Yoga hikes are intentionally spontaneous. We connect with our inner child and experience nature through those eyes. It is easy to learn to focus on the moment with the sun shining, a breeze rustling the trees, the sounds of water and birds to replace the chatter in your mind.

I believe our human condition requires us to relate closely with our environment. Our soil, the woods, water in all it's glorious forms absolutely has healing benefits. Water in particular influences our emotional health and well being.

Sensory Journey Through Nature a Harvest Retreat

Think about what it feels like to be in the forest— to be surrounded by ancient giants with bright, soft leaves and deep protective roots. You hear the water running through the veins of the earth and each small creature kept safe and alive in the pristine expanse of green canopy. What can you touch? Smell? This is the essence of shinrin-yoku, or the intentional act of becoming immersed and finding repose in the quiet embrace of mother earth.
